Darius

Darius, the multi-faceted French DJ and producer, has been creating music in his own image for the past 10 years. By blending genres like funk, disco and soul, with cosmic, solar and introspective elements, he crafts tracks that are as dreamlike as they are danceable. Darius began his musical journey in 2012 with his self-produced debut EP 'VELOUR': a project made of warm sounds and filtered synthesizers, inspired by the French house scene. In 2014, following the success of his single 'Hot Hands', which features the Canadian singer Darianna Everett, he released his second EP 'ROMANCE'. In 2017, he unveiled his first album, 'UTOPIA', a groovy project with introspective and cosmic elements. A few years later, he released 'EQUILIBRIUM', the first single from his second album 'OASIS'. This album is at the center of the OASIS trilogy: 'OASIS (Prelude)' in 2021, 'OASIS' in 2022, and 'OASIS (Epilogue)' in 2023. As he studied graphic design, the visual aspect of his art has always been essential for Darius: he always contributes to the design of his music videos, album covers, stage design, and merchandise. Talking about his music, Darius hopes it will be considered by his audience as timeless and rich: "I’d like people to escape for a few minutes while listening to it."
